After Cosmogroup and Feyenoord have been finding each other since last season, their hands are now officially clasped, and Cosmogroup is an ‘official supplier’ of the Rotterdam club. Feyenoord's women's first team and U21 and U18 youth teams will also greatly benefit from the supplier agreement. The contract is signed until June 2025.
To enable Feyenoord's players to perform optimally, the Rotterdammers started last year to create an ‘innerselfie’ for each athlete. For this, the help of Cosmogroup (a research and development organization focused on sports science and personalized nutrition and supplements) was enlisted, and this quickly proved to be beneficial. The squad has become fitter ever since, and this played a significant role in winning the league title. Justin Bijlow explains how the collaboration has also influenced his fitness: “Thanks to this concept, I was able to get an innerselfie of my gastrointestinal tract. This allowed me to make adjustments to my diet, making me significantly fitter and stronger this season.”

We want to intensify the analyses with our players, enabling us to fine-tune diet and supplementation, particularly around peak periods in the season. Furthermore, in the event of injuries, we will also be able to make adjustments to the athlete's diet to optimize their recovery.”
