Because nature is our most important supplier, we treat it with respect and do everything we can to prevent its destruction. That's why we are proud to sponsor and support various projects that benefit the environment.
For example, the bee project of Go! Atheneum Eramus De Pinte was supported. The secondary school has started a nature project featuring wild bees. This project is part of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), an action plan by the Flemish government to encourage young people to pursue education in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
Go! Atheneum Eramus De Pinte wants to motivate its students by organizing dynamic projects with a clear objective, requiring them to gather information to achieve this goal. One of these projects is the creation of a green schoolyard. They aim to transform the wild landscape into a green oasis with a lot of diversity. Each year, a specific project is undertaken to achieve this goal.
Last year they had the opportunity to work on a 100 m² plot of land. After a brainstorming session, the students decided to plant native flowering plants and build a visually appealing bee hotel in a central position.
As a nature-friendly company, Cosmogroup was enthusiastic to support this project. We organized information sessions for the students about bees, their way of life, their importance for nature and humans, and the practical implementation of the garden.
